The CS Carbon Spine Extension can be fitted to a standard operating table to provide imaging and patient positioning capabilities comparable to that of a specialist dual-rail spine table.

    Offering both improved patient access and dramatic cost-savings for operating departments, key advantages over full spine tables include:-

    • Space saving – far smaller than a full spine table
    • Improved efficiency –simply remove the extension to return the table for use for other surgical disciplines or less complex spine surgeries that do not require a full carbon table
    • Greatly improved anaesthetic access – No end columns between the anaesthetic team and the patient
    • 360 degree C-Arm/0-Arm access

The reusable support pads comprise of a chest, hip and thigh supports and are made from multiple layers of pressure relieving foam, reducing the risk of pressure-related injury to the patient, and are covered in velcro-free, easy-clean material for improved infection control. The pads feature a quick-release locking mechanism for easy removal and adjustability. Multiple sizes available.
