BSS-Brazilian Spine Society
Brazilian Spine Society - BSS is formed by Neurosurgeons and Orthopedists. The BSS is represents around 1,300 Brazilians spine surgeons. Founded in 1994, it operates in the areas of continuing education, advocacy and medical update. It has 39 accredited training services for spine surgeons in Brazil and a scientific journal called Coluna/Columna with four international bibliographic indexations. The Brazilian Spine Congress is held every 2 years. The current president is Dr. Cristiano Menezes.
