SpineWelding has developed two very innovative products:
The first product is the Elaris Pedicle Screw system with resorbable polymer augmentation to solve the problem of pedicle screws failures in patients with compromised bone quality.
The second product is the Turris Spinal Facet Fusion System. It allows to fuse the facet joints with a resorbable polylactide (PLDLLA) implant. During implantation the surface of the implant is liquefied with the help of ultrasonic energy and enters into the cancellous bone of the facet joints and provides immediate strong fixation and primary stability comparable with pedicle screw fixation.
