Our process for Titanium coating uses a vacuum chamber /inert gas plasma spray to deposited molten Commercially pure Titanium (CP Ti) or Ti 6Al4V onto the surface of an implant. This process creates a rough and porous surface for bone onto/into growth which provides excellent bone /implant fixation. Hydroxyapatite (HA) is processed using controlled robotic plasma spray to apply a very thin coating of HA onto the implant surface in an atmospheric booth. This process creates a surface on the implant that is bio-active which accelerates bone growth and onto/into implant fixation. Since the 1980’s APS have been providing (CP Ti), Ti6Al4V, and (HA) plasma sprayed coatings on orthopaedics, spinals, and dental implants.
