The KG2(TM) Surge(TM) Flow-Thru Interbody System was created to address a number of spinal surgery's most vexing challenges in lumbar fusion procedures, including delivering sufficient graft into the disc space, distributing graft bilaterally throughout the space and integrating the implant; reducing collateral tissued damage risk from multiple instrument passes; and reducing surgical site infections.  The KG2 comes as a complete sterile-packed system with a single-patient-use bone graft delivery tool coupled with a 3D-printed titanium I-beam fusion implant.  A range of sizes in both straight and lordodic configurations are available.

The KG2 Surge system's implant has no lateral walls and serves as a conduit for bilateral, unimpeded flow of a broad spectrum of bone graft materials through the pre-attached, rectangular insertion tool.  Since the system comes pre-assembled and sterilized in a single-use tray, there is minimal scrub tech training and no implant tray re-processing/sterilization -- an ideal system for an ASC or hospital.
