Patented Mortise and Tenon Site Preparation:
Our instrumentation pairs two different drill bit sizes to create a square (QuadraCentric), an elongated channel within the sacroiliac joint space. Once drilled, you are left with 12 ridges in the channel that are intended to supply circumferential fixation of the implant upon insertion. This preparation aims to create biomechanical stability of the motion segment without the unnecessary distraction of the SI joint.
Reproducible Site Preparation:
The Sheath anchors to the ilium to ensure a precise, reproducible drill pattern and implant path.
Single Implant:
The customized structural allograft implant was designed to pair its large trans-joint graft window with the prepared and decorticated channel to create an environment conducive for fusion.
